Buoywatch is a surf conditions app made in Biarritz, France. It brings together real-time readings from 620+ NOAA and worldwide buoys (wave height, period and direction, plus wind and temperatures where available) and tide charts, tide times and tide tables up to 7 days ahead for 4,380+ stations, so surfers can see whether the swell has arrived and when to paddle out. It covers the US coasts, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Europe, South America, Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Pacific islands. The Apple Watch app and its complications are free; Buoywatch PRO adds Home and Lock Screen widgets, wave size notifications and favorites. Buoywatch has been on the App Store since 2019.
